Plan your trip
Choose your location and hire duration. Book ahead so your technology is ready for the trail. Change of plans? Contact us at least 48 hours in advance to request a refund or a new date.

Collect & fit
Collect your exoskeleton at the designated meeting point. We'll adjust the fit and walk you through the equipment before you set off.

Explore & return
Walk, hike or run on your chosen route. Return the equipment at the agreed time; your card stays on file after the hire and is only charged for damage, loss or blameworthy theft in accordance with the terms.
What to bring: Valid UK photo ID and proof of address from one member of your group. No security deposit is taken: your card is kept securely on file with Stripe and may only be charged for damage, loss or blameworthy theft under the hire terms. Hire is subject to eligibility, safety guidance and rental terms.

Which exoskeletons can I hire?+
EXOHIRE currently stocks the Hypershell X-Series Pro. Other models shown on this website are planned additions and are not yet offered for hire.
Will an exoskeleton help if I'm already an experienced hiker?+
It may be useful for longer hikes, uneven routes and ascents by providing powered leg assistance. The experience and benefits depend on the route, your fitness and the device settings.
Can I hire one to walk Mam Tor?+
Peak District hire is offered. Please contact the team with your intended route, date and collection requirements to confirm suitability and availability.
Can I hire for longer than four hours?+
Yes — 24-hour postal hire is advertised from £70. For other periods or extended hire, send an enquiry to discuss options.
What happens if I return late?+
Late returns may incur additional charges under the rental terms. Please contact EXOHIRE as soon as you know you may be delayed.
Can I cancel or change my plans?+
Contact EXOHIRE more than 48 hours before your hire begins to request a refund or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours may be non-refundable, subject to the applicable hire terms.
Is a security deposit required?+
No. No security deposit is taken. You pay the hire charge at checkout and your card is kept securely on file with Stripe instead. After the hire, the saved card may only be charged for damage, loss or blameworthy theft in accordance with the hire agreement.
